What is 7×35?
I’m on a mission to visit seven continents by the time I turn 35…just five short years away.
The title of this blog refers to my goal of visiting all seven continents by the time I turn 35. That’ll happen in June 2022. Why 35? Admittedly, it’s somewhat arbitrary. I was 28 when I came up with the idea, and fitting it all in before I turned 30 seemed too ambitious and by 40 seemed like far too long. So, 35 it is!
To date, I’ve visited four continents: Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. I’ve seen South America from a distance (I was in Aruba at the time) but that doesn’t count! I’ll be visiting South America and Antarctica (!) in January 2019. That just leaves planning for Australia, and there’s plenty of time for that. // 7×35

*Since people always have questions about technicalities: I only count countries in which I’ve spent enough time to eat a proper (non-airport) meal.
